Professional boxing world champion and looking for a job? How can that be? Dilar Kisikyol, 33, dreams of being able to make a living from boxing even after her career ends - independently with her own studio. She retires in September 2024. Despite numerous world championship titles, she does not earn enough money to secure her livelihood - not uncommon in women's boxing. She struggles both professionally and privately. As the daughter of Kurdish immigrants, she had to learn this early on. Outside the ring, Dilar is committed to inclusion and social participation, trains women with Parkinson's disease in the project ‘You fight’, which she founded specifically for this purpose, and also wants to encourage children and young people and give them prospects for development.
